Terms of Service
Last updated 27 July 2026
These terms form the agreement between you and Magic Journey Sanctuary LLC, trading as Magic Post Op Academy and operating Magic Post Op NYC Institute, Inc. at 2708 Glenwood Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11210 (referred to below as we, us and our). They govern your account, your enrolment and your use of this site.
By creating an account or enrolling in a programme you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not create an account.
1. What we provide
We provide vocational education in manual lymphatic drainage and post-operative aftercare, delivered as written online material, quizzes and, in the Certified Practitioner tier, supervised in-person clinical training at our Brooklyn institute.
Our programmes award an educational certificate. They do not award a licence to practise massage therapy or any other regulated activity, and we make no representation that they do. The full position is set out in our scope of practice notice, which forms part of these terms.
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- The information you give us must be accurate. Your full name is printed on any certificate we issue, so a name that is not yours will produce a certificate that is worthless.
- Your account is personal to you. Do not share your credentials. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.
- Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
3. Enrolment, prices and payment
- Prices are shown in US dollars on the enrolment page and are payable in full at the point of purchase.
- Payment is processed by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details.
- Access to purchased material is granted once the payment provider confirms the payment.
- Access to online material does not expire, and includes revisions we make to that material. This is not a promise to operate the site indefinitely; see clause 8.
- The Business Mentorship programme is an optional add-on available to students already enrolled in a tier. It is non-accredited.
4. In-person clinical training
- Clinical days included in the Certified Practitioner tier are scheduled with you after purchase, subject to cohort availability.
- Travel, accommodation and any other costs of attending are yours.
- While on our premises you agree to follow the standards of conduct set out in the course introduction and any instruction given by our staff. We may exclude a student whose conduct endangers or disrupts others, without refund.
- Clinical training involves practical work on and by fellow students under instructor supervision. Tell us in advance about any medical condition that affects your ability to take part safely.
5. Certificates
- The Certificate of Completion (Online Theory) is issued automatically once you have passed every quiz in the online programme.
- The Certified Practitioner credential is issued by us after you have completed the required in-person clinical days.
- Each certificate carries a unique verification code and is verifiable by anyone at our public verification page.
- We may revoke a certificate obtained by misrepresentation, by another person completing the assessments, or where the holder makes false claims about what it authorises. A revoked certificate shows as revoked on the verification page.
6. Your use of the material
The curriculum, quizzes, images and video are our intellectual property or are used by us under licence. On enrolment you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study and professional practice.
You may not:
- copy, republish, resell, or share the material with anyone who has not enrolled;
- record, screenshot or reproduce the material for distribution;
- use the material to build or deliver a competing course; or
- represent yourself as an instructor, agent or affiliate of ours without our written agreement.
You keep ownership of anything you create yourself. Breach of this clause ends your licence and may end your access without refund.
7. Educational information, not medical advice
Everything we publish is educational information. It is neither intended nor implied to substitute for advice from a medical professional familiar with a person’s health status. Neither you nor your clients should rely on it as medical, psychiatric, psychological or behavioural healthcare advice.
Where our material links to an external website, that link is offered for convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for external sites or their content.
8. Availability and changes
- We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, faults and events beyond our control will occasionally interrupt it.
- We may improve, correct and expand the curriculum. Material changes to what a tier includes will not reduce what you have already paid for.
- If we ever discontinue the platform we will give enrolled students reasonable notice and a means of retaining the material they purchased.
- We may change these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will notify enrolled students by email before it takes effect.
9. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time by writing to contact@magicpostop.com. Closing your account does not by itself entitle you to a refund; refunds are governed by our refund policy.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used to distribute our material, or that is used to make false claims about the credential. Where the breach is serious we may do so without refund.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of clients, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the material or your practice. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with your enrolment is limited to the amount you paid us for that enrolment.
You are solely responsible for the care you provide to your own clients, for practising within the law where you practise, and for holding appropriate professional insurance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. The courts of the State of New York have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any non-waivable rights you hold as a consumer in your place of residence.
